Is YouTube Go discontinued?
On June 24, 2020, we'll begin pre-installing the YouTube main app on Android (Go edition) devices, instead of pre-installing the YouTube Go app. We'll also remove the YouTube Go app from the Google Play Store. Current YouTube Go users will not experience any service or support interruptions.
How do you update YouTube Go?
Update the YouTube app
- Open the Google Play Store app .
- Tap Menu. My apps & games.
- Apps with an update available are labeled "Update."
- Tap Update All to update all apps. For individual apps, find the specific app you want to update and tap Update.
Where can I download YouTube?
Clicking the Free Download button will take you to the Google Play store where you can download the program. If you encounter any issues with your download, please report them here.
Can you download YouTube Go?
Go to a video you'd like to download to your SD card. Tap the video once. Select the video quality of either Data Saver, Standard, or High Quality. Tap Download.
Why is my YouTube Go not downloading?
Clear Cache You should start by clearing the cache. If the issue persists, only then clear data. Clearing data on YouTube will remove the downloaded videos and reset settings in the app to their original values. However, clearing data for Play Store and Play Services will not delete any data.
How do I download a YouTube video onto my phone?
Download videos
- Go to the video you'd like to download on the Home tab or the search results page.
- Tap the video thumbnail.
- Select the video quality that you would like to download the video in, then tap Download.
How can I download the video from YouTube?
Open YouTube app and go to the video you wish to download. Click on the three-dot icon placed below the video. Click on Download Video. Once the download is completed, users can find it in Library > Downloads.
